Indian Hills Exits National Tournament After Two Matches
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Traveling south to Tennessee, the Indian Hills Warriors entered the NJCAA Division I Volleyball National Tournament as the No. 16 seed. The Warriors earned their spot by sweeping Missouri State–West Plains to claim the Midwest-A District Championship.
On selection day, Indian Hills drew a daunting first-round opponent: No. 1 Miami Dade (Fla.), which had lost only two matches all season. The Warriors battled hard but fell 3–0 to the Sharks, sending them to the consolation bracket.
In their first consolation match, Indian Hills faced No. 9 Blinn (Texas) in what became a thrilling five-set contest. After dropping the first two sets, the Warriors roared back behind a standout performance from Farah Sherif, who recorded 20 kills, and Ana Luiza, who tallied 41 assists. Their efforts pushed the match to a decisive fifth set. Indian Hills opened the set strong, taking a 4–2 lead behind three Sherif kills and another from Aleksandra Oles, but Blinn regained momentum late and secured the 3–2 victory.
The loss brought the Warriors' season to an end. Indian Hills finished 25–10 overall after claiming both the Region 11 and Midwest-A District titles. It marked the program's seventh all-time appearance at the national tournament.
